If you could be any animal, what would it be?

I’ve always said that if I could be any animal, I’d be a house cat. They have it pretty good most of the time. Sleep-eat-sleep-play-eat-sleep.

Where in the world do you want to go where you have never been?

I haven’t traveled outside of the U.S. so any country would fascinate me, but I think I’d really love to travel around Europe. I love history and would have endless things to learn and see over there.

What are some hobbies you enjoy when you’re not dancing?

Well right now, when I’m not dancing I’m finishing up my undergraduate degree so I’m usually doing homework. If I weren’t doing homework I would be reading non-fiction literature, watching documentaries, or learning how to juggle.

If you could only eat 3 foods for the rest of your life, what would they be?

Fried okra, Greek yogurt, and Strawberries

If you could be an Olympic athlete, what sport would you compete in?

Most definitely would compete in Curling.

If you could have dinner with one famous person, living or dead, who would it, be?

I would love to have dinner with Deepak Chopra.           

If you were guaranteed to be successful in a different profession, what would you do?

One of my dreams is to become a social worker actually and I’d love to get my MSW down the road!

If you could be any fictional character for one day, who would it be?

I definitely would be Moana after returning the heart to Te Fiti.

What is your favorite book?

It’s hard for me to chose one, so here’s my top three: Viktor E. Frankl’s Man’s Search for Meaning; Michael Eric Dyson’s Tears We Cannot Stop; Jenny Nordberg’s The Underground Girls of Kabul.

What skill would you like to master?

I’d like to become a master at juggling.

What is the one song you can listen to on repeat and never get sick of it?

“Across The Universe” by The Beatles

What is your favorite holiday?

New Years! It’s full of possibilities, love, and family.

What is the best way to start the day?

At least for me, the best way to start my day is to meditate and pray. When I have time, this would be followed by a huge breakfast (my favorite meal of the day).
