Her short film Take Your Time received more than ten international awards, including Best Short at the San Francisco Dance Film Festival. She received an Emmy Award for her work on the television special Baseballet 2: Into the Game.
Natasha has been commissioned by Tulsa Ballet, Joffrey Ballet’s Winning Works, Kansas City Ballet, BalletX, Richmond Ballet, Oklahoma City Ballet, Nevada Ballet Theatre, Oakland Ballet, Ceprodac in Mexico City, Houston Contemporary Dance Company, Ballet Arizona II, Ballare Carmel, Ballet22, South Chicago Dance Theatre, and Imagery. Beyond the concert stage, she has created original work for Pixar Animation Studios, Oculus, National Geographic, The New Yorker, YouTube, and Cricket Wireless.
Her work has been supported by grants and fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the San Francisco Arts Commission, the Jacob’s Pillow Choreographic Fellowship, the Dresher Foundation, and the New Theater Project. Additional honors include the Grand Prize at the Palm Desert Choreography Festival and an Isadora Duncan Dance Award for Blooming Flowers and the Full Moon.
Recent and upcoming projects include Dromer, an immersive film installation featuring the music of the Danish String Quartet, and Judgment of Paris, a new opera. She is also the Creative Producer for A Peanuts Symphony with the San Francisco Symphony, teaches Dance on Camera workshops internationally, and serves as an Artistic Advisor for Ballet22.
