Teen & Adult
No Experience Required
Richard Villaverde

This class is designed for the people who have always wanted to take a ballet class, but do not have any prior training. The setting of this class will allow beginners to start understanding the structure and format of a traditional ballet class. Throughout the season, this class will teach the fundamentals of ballet such as coordination, proper body alignment, correct rotation, and musicality. The class will contain elementary barre and center exercises that will build on ballet vocabulary using traditional french terminology, as well as developing student’s musculature and strength. Come join BalletX for a rewarding introduction to the art of ballet.

This class is intended for students who are familiar with the classical ballet vocabulary and are ready to start putting together full and basic movement sentences in a gently challenging atmosphere.  Class will consist of an hour barre (or as the teacher sees fit), and 30 minutes of center work with small jumps included.
