This class is designed for dancers already familiar with ballet to continue to develop their technique. With a traditional ballet class format including barre and center combinations, students will be able to further hone in on their artistry, coordination, alignment, strength, and more. While dancing with fellow members of the community, dancers will be able to enjoy a class that is challenging for the body, but rewarding for the mind. Come join BalletX to further develop your ballet technique in a supportive and welcoming environment.
A student in this class should be comfortable with their ballet vocabulary, more complex patterns of exercises, and with a slightly quicker speed of class progression. Class will typically consist of 45-50 minutes of barre work focusing on building strength, speed, and flexibility, followed by 40-45 minutes of center work including big jumps.
