Taught by Amy Novinski, Beginner Ballet explores the keystones of the Vaganova ballet technique. Learn positions of the arms and legs, movement groups such as extensions of the legs, stretches, turns, jumps, and how to move through space. We invite you to try something new in a safe and accepting environment where open discussion on class topics is always encouraged. This open class consists of Barre exercises, center/across the floor exercises, and culminates in jump exercises. Modification choices for all bodies and comfort levels are welcome!
