Eileen Kim is a Korean American dancer, choreographer, and dance educator dedicated to sharing the transformative power of dance with the communities she engages with.
Eileen’s early training included mentorship from Stella Voskovetskaya, Erin Forrest, and Anton Wilson. She graduated from the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington, DC, before embarking on her professional career with Universal Ballet in Seoul, South Korea, performing in theaters across the nation and internationally.
In 2023, Eileen graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Southern California Glorya Kaufman School of Dance with a BFA in Dance with a concentration in Choreography. During her time at USC, Eileen performed featured roles in Sonatine by George Balanchine, In Creases by Justin Peck, Whereabouts Unknown by Jiří Kylián, Counterpoint by Kyle Abraham, and performed in works by Ohad Naharin, William Forsythe, Merce Cunningham, Yin Yue, Dani Rowe, and Bret Easterling, among others.
Upon graduating, Eileen joined Cincinnati Ballet where she was engaged as a dancer with the second company while also sharing her expertise as an academy instructor. Alongside performing in several company productions, Eileen co-choreographed works including Let’s Meet Again for the second company and directed the Advanced Division’s Choreography Showcase.
