Meet Ben Schwarz

About Ben

Ben Schwarz began his training in 2015 under the late Marcia Dale Weary at The Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet where he spent two years training as part of the male scholarship program.

In 2017, Ben was invited to The School of American Ballet’s winter term, where he trained for three years under many former and current New York City Ballet dancers. While in New York City, he participated in The New York Choreographic Institute where he originated roles in world premieres created by up-and-coming choreographic voices.

In The School of American Ballet’s annual workshop performance, Ben performed in Balanchine classics such as Western Symphony and Bourée Fantasque, as well as neo-classical works such as Justin Peck’s In Creases. After graduating from the School Of American Ballet, Ben danced with the Philadelphia Ballet for two seasons before joining BalletX in the spring of 2022.
