BalletX joins Opera Philadelphia, The Bearded Ladies Cabaret, and FringeArts for Meet Me at the Eagle, an unforgettable kickoff concert at the historic Wanamaker building. The event takes its name from sculptor August Gaul’s iconic 2,500-pound bronze eagle—once the beloved meeting spot inside John Wanamaker’s iconic department store.
On this special afternoon, artists from the Opera Philadelphia’s orchestra, chorus, and special guest singers will perform alongside dynamic collaborations with BalletX and fellow Philadelphia arts innovators. It’s a celebration of the city’s vibrant performing arts scene, set against one of Philadelphia’s most legendary landmarks.
