About Instructors Mike McDermott and Kate Holden
Mike McDermott and Kate Holden met at the University of Delaware Swing Club in 2015 and have been teaching together ever since. They teach regularly at their local scene, Jazz Attack, as well as other scenes in the U.S. They enjoy breaking down movements to their core mechanics while finding fun and creative ways to express ideas. Mike and Kate love helping dancers experience their “lightbulb moments” and want them to find as much joy in dancing as they do.
