DESCRIPTION:One Dance\, One Philly is BalletX’s citywide invitation to dance\, featuring accessible\, shared choreography designed to bring people of all ages and experience levels together through movement. All season long\, this joyful dance connects audiences and community members across Philadelphia\, culminating in large-scale public moments where everyone is invited to participate. \nThe countdown is on! As part of our First Friday series\, join us for the One Dance\, One Philly Workshop\, a high-energy\, welcoming class led by our Dance eXchange Teaching Artists. This workshop is your chance to learn and rehearse the choreography you will be invited to perform during two major public events: our Pop-Up performance on Monday\, May 18 on the East Terrace Steps of the Philadelphia Art Museum\, and again with thousands of your fellow community members at the Festival at Highmark Mann\, June 4-5. \nOpen to all ages and experience levels\, this workshop offers an opportunity to dance in community\, build confidence\, and be part of something bigger than yourself. Come move with us\, rehearse together\, and get ready to light up Philadelphia with dance! \nThis event is for all ages. All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. \n20 for 20\, presented by PNC Arts Alive\nBalletX is turning 20\, and we’re celebrating with the community that made it all possible!
