BalletX returns to the Free Library’s Parkway Central branch for a very special performance on the grand Beaux-Arts building’s rooftop terrace, boasting 360° scenic views, and one of the most exciting civic spaces to gather with friends and fellow Philadelphians. As part of the run-up to BalletX’s Summer Series 2019, the company will perform an excerpt from Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s The Little Prince, inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry novella, from 4:30pm-5pm. Following the Pop Up performance, Lopez Ochoa will participate in a Q&A from 5pm-5:30pm, moderated by Joan DeJean, Trustee Professor of Romance Languages in the French and Francophone Studies department at the University of Pennsylvania. The first 100 Pop Up attendees will receive a free edition of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s The Little Prince (one copy per family please).
BalletX Pop Ups are generously supported by the William Penn Foundation.
