Bryant Lee began his dance career in drill team at the age of 13, and just a few years later formed a street dance crew, the Philly Dance Kings (PDK). PDK became the best and very well-known crew in the late 1990s by battling and performing around Philadelphia. In 2009, Bryant expanded his repertoire and joined Philadelphia’s premier African dance company, Kulu Mele African Drum and Dance Ensemble. He has performed at notable events such as Jacob’s Pillow, the Pope’s visit to Philadelphia, and the World City Concert for Families at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in LA. In addition to battling and performing, Bryant has served as a Hip Hop teaching artist for over a decade, serves as Kulu Mele’s primary Hip Hop choreographer, has begun to building his own Hip Hop Dance company Dancelife Entertainment. Bryant has a brand new crew “The Jungle Brothers,” and hosts the King of the Ring underground dance battle, which is currently the biggest and only underground street dance battle in Philadelphia.
