Novae Barnes is a professional dancer and instructor from Sicklerville, New Jersey. A proud Sagittarius with an undeniable passion for movement, Novae has dedicated her life to the art of dance. She moved from New Jersey to Philadelphia in 2016 to pursue her dreams and is currently training and competing in some of the hottest battles in the scene, continuing to sharpen her craft and push her limits as a performer.
Beyond the stage, Novae shares her love for dance as an instructor at four different studios across New Jersey and Philadelphia. Known for her energy, creativity, and strong connection with her students, she finds her greatest joy in inspiring the next generation of dancers to move with confidence and heart.
In 2025, Novae founded her own dance collective, THE MUVAS — a collective of mothers who are dance educators and artists building together as a unit and in collaboration with other dance artists and DJs. Through hosting parties and events, they spread their passion for dance and community, bringing greater unity and collaboration to the city of Philadelphia and beyond.
