Philadelphia is dancing!
BalletX’s One Dance, One Philly is back, and this year, our dancers took the movement to some of Philadelphia’s most iconic locations to celebrate the joy, energy, and spirit of our city. From LOVE Park and Philadelphia City Hall to the Philadelphia Museum of Art and beyond, this new video transforms familiar Philadelphia landmarks into stages for movement, connection, and community.
One Dance, One Philly is BalletX’s citywide invitation to dance. Designed for all ages and experience levels, the choreography is accessible, joyful, and meant to be shared. Whether you’re a lifelong dancer or someone who has never stepped into a studio before, this is your chance to move with thousands of Philadelphians and be part of something bigger than yourself.
Join the Challenge: Dance, Post, Win VIP Tickets
We are inviting YOU to be part of this year’s One Dance, One Philly video, and you could win 2 VIP passes to BalletX’s Festival at Highmark Mann!
How to Participate:
- Learn the One Dance, One Philly choreography! You can learn the full piece, or just your favorite steps in your own style – whatever feels comfortable for you.
- Film yourself performing the dance. You can dance solo or with friends, family, classmates, or coworkers.
- Post your video on Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook.
- Tag @BalletX.
- Use the hashtag #OneDanceOnePhilly.
- Post by May 20.
How Winners Will Be Chosen
BalletX will select winning videos based on:
- Joy and enthusiasm
- Creativity – make the dance your own!
- Community spirit
- Unique locations across Philadelphia
- Groups and collaborations are encouraged!
Selected Participants Will:
- Be featured in BalletX’s One Dance, One Philly video released in June
- Be entered to win 2 VIP passes to the Festival at Highmark Mann (June 4-5), which include premium seating, VIP access, BalletX merchandise, and a backstage tour
Winners will be announced in late May.
Dance With Us This Season
Participants will also have opportunities to perform One Dance, One Philly during major public BalletX events this spring and summer, including our free Pop-Up at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, presented by PNC Arts Alive, on May 18 and at BalletX’s Festival at Highmark Mann on June 4–5.
At BalletX, we believe dance has the power to inspire human connection, and One Dance, One Philly is all about bringing people together through movement, music, and shared experience.
