Composed by Stravinsky in Russia in 1911, the score for “Petrushka” is full of color, playfulness, and drama. Inspired by the original highly acclaimed ballet, choreographer Amy Hall Garner and artistic collaborator Nancy Meckler have set this new version behind the scenes of a traveling show world where we meet a lonely outsider. Once catapulted into a magical world of jealousy, chaos and wonder he comes to discover his true self.
