Christian Denice was selected from over 80 international applicants as this season’s Choreographic Fellow. His BalletX debut explores ceremony as a powerful act of healing, memory, and connection, taking audiences on an emotional journey through grief, love, and the rituals that shape us.

Itzkan Barbosa and Lanie Jackson, BalletX company dancers, each premiere dynamic new works this season. Barbosa’s transcendent piece explores resilience and unity, where movement becomes a shared rhythm. Jackson’s exuberant work, inspired by Argentine tango composer Astor Piazzolla, balances classical form with the thrilling tension between comfort and risk.

Noelle Kayser’s audience favorite, Scales on the Wings of a Butterfly, returns after its 2025 debut. Set to an original composition by Jeff Kolar, this intricate work explores the art of microscopic photography and the world of the unseen, powered by Kayser’s detailed, energetic, and evocative choreography.

All performances will take place at Goodhart Hall at Bryn Mawr College in Bryn Mawr, PA on Philadelphia’s Main Line. Click to view our Venue & Parking Map.

Parking is free and available at various parking lots across the Bryn Mawr College campus and at The Shipley School. At Bryn Mawr College lots, please disregard “Faculty Only” or “Student Only” signs. Click here for directions to available parking locations. All parking locations are a 5-15 minute walk from Goodhart Hall. Please arrive early to allow time to get to the venue, and be mindful of weather conditions.

The following public transit lines have routes that pass near Bryn Mawr College: SEPTA Bus 105 and 106 and Regional Rail: PAOLI/THORNDALE.

Wheelchair accessible seating and is available at Goodhart Hall (please note that there is no seat in designated wheelchair seats).

Limited ADA parking is available next to the venue, and it must be reserved in advance. To reserve ADA parking, please contact the BalletX Box Office at boxoffice@balletx.org or 215-225-5389 x250.
