Artist Spotlight Series: Spring Series 2019

On January 16, dive into Spring Series 2019 world premiere choreography with 2019 Choreographic Fellow Katarzyna Skarpetowska and Nicolo Fonte at BalletX’s Artist Spotlight Series.

Katarzyna Skarpetowska is BalletX’s 2019 Choreographic Fellow and a former dancer with Parsons Dance Company and Lar Lubovitch. Skarpetowska will recieve mentorship by choreographer Nicolo Fonte as she creates a World Premiere on the company.

In addition to mentoring Katarzyna Skarpetowska, Nicolo Fonte will be creating his third BalletX World Premiere, following the success of Beautiful Decay (2013) and Beasts (2015). Fonte has created work on Dutch National Ballet, Perm Tchaikovsky Ballet, and Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, and is the Resident Choreographer of Ballet West and Oregon Ballet Theatre.

This free public series is made possible by generous funding from the Wyncote Foundation.
