SQUARES

Choreographer: Matthew Neenan
Composer: Scott Ordway
Premiere Date: March 18, 2026

The original score and new choreography is inspired by the beauty and the power of organized groups of people, which creates a visual language of highly ordered, inorganic shapes: lines, squares, triangles, and rectangles. It’s a celebration of form, of aesthetic, and of the power of togetherness. It’s a visual exploration of the way in which individual behavior becomes remarkable when replicated at group scale.

Music commissioned by the Charles and Joan Gross Family Foundation
