BalletX’s home season is primarily presented at The Suzanne Roberts Theatre, located at 480 S. Broad Street in Center City, Philadelphia. 

BalletX also performs throughout the Philadelphia region, including special engagements at Villanova University and our annual Festival at Highmark Mann, as well as on tour nationally and internationally.

Because venues vary, be sure to check the individual performance page for the location of your performance before you go.

BalletX presents multiple performance series and special engagements throughout the year, featuring world premieres, acclaimed repertory, and collaborations with artists from Philadelphia and around the world.

We also perform on tour and offer pop-up performances, classes, workshops, and special events throughout the community.

Tickets may be purchased online through BalletX.org or by contacting the BalletX Box Office at 215-225-5389 x250 or boxoffice@balletx.org.

BalletX.org is the only authorized online ticket seller for BalletX home season performances. For BalletX performances on tour, tickets are sold through the presenting venue or its officially designated ticketing partner.

We strongly recommend purchasing tickets only through authorized sources. Tickets purchased through third-party sellers are not guaranteed to be valid.

We recommend arriving approximately 30 minutes before the performance to give yourself plenty of time to find your seat, visit the restroom, explore merchandise, and settle in before the performance begins.

Be sure to allow additional time for parking and transportation, particularly for performances in Center City.

If you arrive after the performance has begun, you will be seated at the first suitable break in the program. Depending on the performance, this may be during a designated late-seating break or at intermission.

We recommend arriving early so you don’t miss any of the performance.

Whatever makes you comfortable! There is no dress code at BalletX.

You’ll see everything from jeans and casual attire to people dressed up for a night at the theater. Come as you are and enjoy the performance.

BalletX creates contemporary ballet for audiences of all backgrounds and levels of experience. You don’t need to know ballet terminology, understand a particular story, or have attended dance before. Come curious and experience the work in whatever way speaks to you.

BalletX performances at theater venues are generally recommended for ages 5 and older, while Festival at Highmark Mann welcomes audiences of all ages. Please note that all children attending the performance must have their own ticket.

Because every program is different, please check the individual performance page for any specific age recommendations or content advisories. If you have questions about whether a performance is appropriate for your child, contact our Box Office.

Yes! BalletX offers discounted student tickets to patrons under age 21 or with a valid student ID, subject to availability.

For assistance purchasing student tickets, contact the BalletX Box Office at boxoffice@balletx.org or 215-225-5389 x250.

Rush tickets may be available on the day of the performance, subject to availability. Because availability depends on remaining inventory, rush tickets cannot be guaranteed in advance and must be purchased in person at the Box Office on the day of the performance.

Please note that in-person Box Office sales open approximately one hour before curtain.
