Mission & History

Founded in 2005 and dedicated to creating and performing new work, BalletX has commissioned more than 150 world premiere ballets by today’s leading choreographers. Through performances, touring, and community programs, BalletX expands the boundaries of ballet while sharing the power of dance with audiences in Philadelphia and beyond.
