BalletX Welcomes 36 Dream Team Students

With mid-year performances complete, rehearsals have kicked off for BalletX’s Dream Team. This year, we’re thrilled to welcome 36 Dance eXchange students from our five partner schools, Bache-Martin, Albert M. Greenfield, Marian Anderson Neighborhood Academy, Stephen Girard, and Francis Scott Key!

It’s a great feeling to witness the 3rd and 4th graders who dedicate their after-school time to learn and collaborate together. Each week, they come to the BalletX studio outside of their normal classroom hours to prepare for various performances around the city. Even though they come from different schools and classrooms, it’s remarkable to see how they seamlessly unite as the Dream Team. We’re thrilled to have this amazing group as part of our BalletX family.

A special shoutout to our dedicated Teaching Artists, Ms. Ellicia Clayton and Ms. Olivia Brown, leading the 2024 Dream Team with passion and expertise. With their guidance, the Dream Team will create magic on stage, showcasing remarkable choreography and skills. Please join us in expressing gratitude to these fantastic Teaching Artists!

Mark your calendars for the Dream Team’s debut at The Wilma Theater before BalletX’s Saturday, March 9, 2pm performance as part of our Spring Series Family Day. It’s set to be a day filled with smiles and unforgettable moments. Grab your tickets, invite your friends and family, and get ready to experience the finest show in town!

The excitement with Dream Team performances doesn’t end there. Join us at BalletX’s Festival at the Mann, where the Dream Team will take the stage in Crescendo on Friday, April 26 at the pre-show community event. We invite you to experience the vibrancy and talent that defines BalletX’s Dream Team, and look forward to creating lasting memories with everyone in this extraordinary celebration of dance!

Cheers to our Teaching Artists and the entire Dream Team!
