Artist Resources Auditions
BalletX accepts virtual audition materials throughout the season. To be considered for the BalletX company, please submit your materials through our online form.
Due to the high volume of submissions, we will only follow up with applicants we believe are a strong match for the position. Dancers who are selected for consideration will be notified via email, and invited to attend an in-person audition in Philadelphia, PA that includes taking company class, learning BalletX repertory, and interviewing with artistic leadership.
Marco Lorenzo-Giguere was born in Washington DC. He trained at the Washington School of Ballet and later at Saint Paul’s School. He has attended summer training programs at American Ballet Theater, Jacob’s Pillow, Juilliard, and Royal Danish Ballet. Marco is a rising junior at Columbia University, studying dance and neuroscience.
Olivia Winston is originally from Salt Lake City, Utah and received her early classical ballet training in the Ballet West Academy Professional Training Division. She is a recent graduate of the Alonzo King LINES Ballet Training Program where she performed works by choreographers including Alonzo King, Mike Tyus, Keelan Whitmore, Moscelyne ParkeHarrison, Gregory Dawson, David Harvey, Chuck Wilt, Carmen Rozestraten, and Kayla Farrish. While in the Bay Area, she also had the opportunity to perform with dawsondancesf, tinypistol, and ZiRu Dance. Olivia has attended intensives at BalletX, Hubbard Street, LINES, Complexions, American Ballet Theater, Houston Ballet, and Ballet West/ArtÉmotion.
