10 Questions with Daniel Cho

Daniel, if you could be any animal, what would it be?

I would be a cute dog, I like their approach to life. Chill and playful without a worry in the world.

Where in the world do you want to visit?

Either Shanghai or Taiwan, since I lived in Korea but I haven’t been there yet.

What are some hobbies you enjoy when you’re not dancing?

I enjoy exploring coffee shops, I really like watching NPR tiny desk concerts on YouTube, I love karaoke, going out, and dancing non-ballet stuff. And I love video games!

If you could only eat three foods for the rest of your life, what would they be?

Oh so easy! Oyakodon, it’s a Japanese chicken and rice bowl with an egg, Shin ramen – like instant Korean ramen, and fried large cow intestine. All so bad for you but delicious!

If you could be an Olympic athlete, what sport would you compete in?

Maybe diving! It’s so impressive how much you have to train for just a second going off the dive. That intrigues me.

If you were guaranteed to be successful in a different profession, what would you do?

Right now I’m starting my design career, so I’d say that!

What is your favorite band/artist?

Ariana Grande, Jasmine Sullivan (Philly native), Tori Kelly, Amy Winehouse

Being late.

What is your favorite Philadelphia landmark?

Chinatown! It’s small but has all the different types of foods that you would want in a Chinatown space.

What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives?

I think everyone should figure out what type of enneagram they are. It’s a personality test that came out fairly recently, my opinion is this is the only test that allows you to profile yourself while also providing ways to improve yourself and gives you tangible ways of self improvement.
