When I discovered the music of Big Daddy, I instantly knew I had to choreograph to it. There is something so strange about hearing these “standard” songs re-envisioned in such a witty and humorous way. I thought it would be a great opportunity to explore a different side to myself. Ultimately it’s a dance about relationships and the dark hidden corners that we so often keep tucked away.

Press Reviews
"...unpredictable, mysterious and at times flat-out hilarious..."
PHILADELPHIA MAGAZINE

"...a zany 80s-inspired romp..."
PHILADELPHIA MAGAZINE

"Dance-wise, Mashup is an eclectic mix with overzealous Charlestons, dainty balanc├ęs and even the odd maxi ford turn thrown in (no easy feat in heels, I can assure you). It begins with great precision, as the five dancers mime falling asleep in different poses on an old couch, but bubbles up into an almost sloppy exuberance by the end."
