Natasha Adorlee, an Emmy Award-winning choreographer, filmmaker, composer, and educator based in San Francisco, CA, is currently the Artistic Fellow with Amy Seiwert’s Imagery. A first-generation Asian American woman, she began choreographing in 2014 while maintaining a successful dance career with Robert Moses’s Kin, ODC/Dance, Kate Weare and Co., and The San Francisco Symphony. Adorlee gained international recognition after her short film Take Your Time won over ten awards in 2018. A graduate of SUNY Purchase and UC Berkeley, she joined ODC/Dance as a performer, contributing original choreography, sound design, and art direction to over 20 repertory works. Adorlee has created numerous original dance-based works for stage, film, and immersive mediums, including commissions for Joffrey Ballet’s Winning Works, Ceprodac (Mexico), Kawaguchi Ballet (Japan), Ballare Carmel, Ballet22, and Imagery. Additionally, she has created original work for Pixar Animation Studios, Oculus, National Geographic, and New Yorker Magazine. Adorlee founded Concept o4 to advocate for more accessibility to the arts through multimedia dance experiences. Recognized with an NEA Grant, Dresher Fellowship, and Jacob’s Pillow Choreographic Fellowship in 2023, and commissions from Kansas City Ballet and Groundworks Dance Theatre in 2024, she continues to create prolifically while sharing her expertise through Dance on Camera workshops and serving as an Artistic Advisor for Ballet22.
